           Ashraya Foundation is more than just an initiative; it's a heartfelt mission brought to life by three like-minded individuals united by compassion, empathy, and a shared vision for change. Together, we have set out to create a supportive and nurturing environment for senior citizens, honoring their lives, their stories, and their dignity.

        Our team is made up of individuals whose diverse journeys and personal experiences have deeply inspired this mission:

• One of us brings a wealth of experience from working as a System Administrator in reputed international schools in Bangalore, and later as an Admin and IT Manager with an NGO, where he dedicated five years to social service. His professional and philanthropic background laid the foundation for organizational strength and compassionate care.

• Another, Mrs. Prema, Teacher and single parent of two, has faced life’s trials with resilience and grace. Despite her own challenges, she has always made time for social service, driven by a deep-rooted desire to give back to society and uplift those in need.

• And one among us, Mr. Vinay Shetty, Marketing Manager at J B MARMO PVT.LTD, carries the emotional weight of losing his mother. Through Ashraya, he seeks to share the love he still holds for her by caring for others’ mothers and fathers, channeling grief into purpose.

  Together, we founded Ashraya Foundation with one clear goal:
     To provide shelter, nutritious food, essential medical care and emotional support to needy senior citizens.

        Ashraya, meaning “shelter,” symbolizes more than a physical space—it represents safety, compassion, and community. Our foundation aims to create personalized care plans and rehabilitation programs that not only meet physical needs but also encourage independence, restore dignity, and build social connections.

Our Mission at Ashraya Foundation

    At Ashraya Foundation, we are dedicated to providing essential support for senior citizens in need, ensuring they live with dignity, comfort, and compassion. Our primary focus is to care for the elderly by offering:

• Free, nutritious food

• Safe and comfortable accommodation

• Timely medical assistance and health monitoring

             We are committed to expanding our reach to serve both male and female senior citizens, creating a nurturing environment where they feel valued and loved

        Looking ahead, our vision also includes launching specialized programs for:

• Spinally injured individuals

• People with disabilities

  These initiatives will focus on empowerment, rehabilitation, and skill-building, aiming to boost self-confidence and promote independent, fulfilling lives.
